The revamped New York Jets experienced an Extreme Makeover: Locker Room Edition during the offseason. In an announcement on their website, which showcased a drone-footage tour, the team revealed the addition of 92 customized lockers along with various other amenities, including a barbershop, a larger sauna, and a striking 2,000-pound 3D Jets ceiling logo prominently displayed in the center of the locker room.

These upgrades, which the team stated had been in development for several years, came after a players’ poll released by the NFL Players Association in February rated the Jets’ locker room with a D-plus, positioning them 26th in the league. The team has been operating out of its current facility since 2008. Owner Woody Johnson received an F, ranking him as the lowest-rated owner in the league, with the team finishing overall at 29th.

“We take pride in having a first-class environment for the players,” said Robert Mastroddi, the Jets’ senior vice president of security and facility operations. “These upgrades will certainly provide more comfort, but they will also enhance wellness, efficiency, and ultimately performance.
