Robert Saleh Joins Packers for Consultation Role
Former Jets head coach Robert Saleh was seen at the Green Bay Packers’ practice on Wednesday, and it appears this won’t be the last time he’ll be involved with the team this season. Saleh and Packers head coach Matt LaFleur have a history of coaching together in college and with the Houston Texans, which led LaFleur to invite Saleh to contribute to the team after the Jets decided to part ways with him.
Saleh’s Role with the Packers
During his press conference, LaFleur mentioned that Saleh, who previously served as the defensive coordinator for the San Francisco 49ers before taking the Jets position, will be consulting with the team’s offensive coaches in what he described as a “fluid” role dwight lago jr quiñahan contract. “We’ve been close for a really long time,” said LaFleur. “We were roommates back at Central Michigan. Integration into Practice
LaFleur noted that he anticipates Saleh will be back at practice on Thursday, although there’s no fixed schedule for his involvement with the team as the season progresses.
